Only writing review on the restaurant in the hotel. It was delicious! My 3 Irish cousins drove over from Sligo to meet the American cousins for dinner. I picked the restaurant based on reviews. We were really happy with it all. Duck was so …

Friday evening restaurant after river cruise holiday, food was middle of the road, little dated - Sirloins lacked seasoning, garnish and mine was a little overcooked (Brie and the Prawn Cocktail to start). Staff friendly manner but clearly haven't had any training. Drink orders missed, table was never cleared and then the waitress reached across the wife to deliver a dessert to the youngest and knocked over a glass of Merlot. Contents ended up over wife's plate, top, shorts, legs and socks. An apology and offer to bring the plate back to the kitchen (too late into meal - kids were on desserts). Were left to clean up the mess ourselves with the napkins in our possession ourselves with no concern over the wife' garments. Poor service at 180 for two adults and two kids.
